New coop- reinforced and auto-door installed. Hopefully fully fox-resistant now! Just wanting to get the new fl8ck used to getting in before the sun goes down and they dont get locked out in the wet and cold like last night!. The door itself is solid and self explanatory-though the cut out template/guide is nowhere near accurate. Aside from that, installation and function is a breeze. Very happy with it.

Can't work out how to make it work with sunrise and sunset. Chooks took 2 days to get used to a new entry and exit . Dumb critters

We love this solar chicken door! It gives us peace of mind knowing the chickens are let out and locked up at the same time every day, especially when we’re running late or having a sleep-in. The only downside is the cord to the solar panel isn’t long enough to reach the roof, so we don’t get the full benefit of solar charging and have to charge the battery weekly. Other than that, it’s been fantastic and makes life so much easier!

I was worried it wouldn’t work, but it’s a game changer for my little ladies and gent , as they love getting out early !! Hopefully it keeps on going on , very impressive.
Arrived so quick. I have had one before but the solar stopped working. This is a brilliant product as long as chickens don’t miss curfew.
Instructions were a little vague when it came to setting the timer for specific times. Still very confused by that but worked out you have to be there at the exact time of day you want it to open and then close. Its not a easy set up and regret not going for something that is easier to set up as there are other models which have timers in them. I am sticking to the solar power method as that is what was easiest to program. Just need to ensure solar panel is in a good position to capture rising and setting sun as it only works when it can tell if its daylight or not. The cord for the solar panel is pretty short given the door sits on the ground and you need the panel to be as high as possible. Its ok, albeit a little overpriced for its simplicity

i love it. its so quiet. super easy to set up. its smaller than my last solar door which is great. the only thing i wish was it had a half setting to only open half way or 3/4 as i have goats that can still get into my coop. i dont know how but they figure it out.lol

Was easy to install and simple to use. Decided to leave door on the default light setting and door closed just on dark. I am very impressed with the quality of materials so hopefully it will last many years.
Installed it today. Hopefully the door will close at sunset. It’s on the light control setting. All manual and remote functions working well .

Our new door works perfectly and is bigger than the other one we had so provides more room for the bigger birds we have. It works great on the light setting and lets the girls out early.
